Protect A Dome respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Information we collect
When you request a quote, you may choose to provide your name, phone number, email address, suburb, service requirement, project description and photographs of the installation area.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and prepare or discuss a quote.
- To assess whether a site visit is needed and plan an installation.
- To manage communication relating to your project.
- To meet legal, accounting or safety obligations where applicable.
Lawful processing
We apply the POPIA conditions of accountability, processing limitation, purpose specification, further processing limitation, information quality, openness, security safeguards and data-subject participation. We collect only information relevant to the enquiry and retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers or installers only where needed to quote, schedule or complete the requested work, or where disclosure is required by law. WhatsApp processes information sent through its platform under its own privacy terms.
Cookies and local storage
This website uses essential browser storage to remember whether you dismissed the privacy notice. It does not use that preference to identify you or build an advertising profile.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information from loss, unauthorised access, misuse or disclosure. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, object to certain processing or request deletion where the law allows. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
